Local public transportation services link Saarbrücken Airport with destinations in the region.

The airport link is operated by VGS Verkehrsmanagement-Gesellschaft Saar mbH: 

Regional bus line R10: Saarbrücken - Airport - Assweiler - Blieskastel

The R10 bus line provides a direct link to the airport from the main train station in Saarbrücken and from Blieskastel.
There are numerous connections to other towns and cities in the Saarpfalz district from the bus station in Assweiler.

From Saarbrücken you have access to the railway network of Deutsche Bahn (DB), the tram system, a wide range of other RSW bus lines and to the cross-border Moselle Saar line MS1 to St. Avold, as well as the Saartal line.
