A wide range of special services is available for visitors and passengers with reduced mobility. Our service staff will ensure that your flight or visit is easy and comfortable.

We provide the following:

  • Restrooms (toilets) for PRMs
  • Public telephone for PRMs
  • Wheelchair-accessible elevators
  • Parking spaces in front of the terminal for pick-up and drop-off
  • 10 parking spaces for PRMs are located on level 2 of the car park, additional spaces are available at parking area P1
  • Medical Lift for comfortable access to the aircraft

All facilities are marked with the international symbol of acces (ISA).

Please indicate your service request at the time of your booking. Our staff will provide wheelchairs and assistance to ensure easy access to the gate and the aircraft.

In order to help your airline make the appropriate preparations before your arrival at the airport, you should inform the airline already when booking your flight to which degree you are restricted in your mobility.

The following international classification helps you to determine your degree of disability:

WCHC (Wheelchair Cabin Seat):
The passenger always requires a wheelchair and needs assistance inside the aircraft. The passenger has his own wheelchair.

WCHS (Wheelchair Steps):
The passenger is unable to negotiate stairs but can walk short distances.

WCHR (Wheelchair Ramp):
The passenger is, as a rule, able to walk but needs a wheelchair for longer distances. He is able to negotiate stairs.

BLND (Blind):
The passenger is blind or visually impaired.

DEAF (Deaf):
The passenger is deaf or hearing-impaired.

BLND-DEAF (Blind-deaf):
The passenger is blind and deaf.

DPNA (Disabled Passenger with intellectual or developmental disability needing assistance):
The passenger is mentally disabled and needs assistance.
