Questions and answers

How do I check in for my flights?

You can check in on the Ryanair.com website or in the mobile app. Once you have logged in, select Check-in and enter your travel document details. For your safety and the safety of your fellow passengers and our crew, the check-in process must be completed by you personally, by a passenger on your booking, or by someone who knows you and the contents of your baggage personally. This is to ensure that you, a passenger on your booking, or a person who knows you and the contents of your baggage personally have confirmed compliance with the required safety and health protocols, including the technical instructions of ICAO, Regulation (EU) 2015/1998, and the EASA/ECDC Covid-19 Aviation Health Safety Protocol, and that you are aware of them.

1: Hand luggage:

  • Priority and 2 pieces of carry-on baggage: This allows you to bring one small personal item (40 x 30 x 20 cm) that must fit under the seat in front of you and one 10 kg bag (55 x 40 x 20 cm) that must be stored in the overhead compartment. You can also board via the Priority Boarding queue at the gate.

2: Checked baggage:

  • 10 kg checked baggage:If you wish to check in a bag, you can add a 10 kg checked bag to your booking. Bags must be handed in at the check-in counter at the airport before security and will be stored in the aircraft's cargo hold.
  • 20 kg checked baggage:If you need more baggage allowance, you can add one piece of baggage weighing up to 20 kg to your booking. Each passenger can purchase up to three pieces of checked baggage weighing 20 kg each when booking.
  • 23 kg checked baggage:If you need more baggage allowance, you can add one piece of checked baggage weighing up to 23 kg to your booking. Each passenger can purchase up to three pieces of checked baggage weighing 23 kg each when booking.
