Declaration of accessibility

Flughafen Saarbrücken GmbH endeavors to make its website https://www.flughafen-saarbruecken.de accessible in accordance with the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) and the European standard EN 301 549 as well as the requirements of § 12 No. 2 SBGG i.V.m. BITV 2.0 to make it accessible.

Description of the service

Saarbrücken Airport operates the website https://www.flughafen-saarbruecken.de, which passengers and visitors can use to obtain and book information on flights, parking, services and transport connections. The target group is primarily travelers and visitors from the passenger transport sector. The site contains detailed descriptions, in particular of the flights, trips and so on on offer, which can be viewed and booked using the usual online mechanisms.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

This website is currently largely compliant with the requirements of the BFSG and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 A - AA. Non-accessible content is listed below. We are constantly working to improve the accessibility of our digital offering.

• Some PDF documents, especially older timetables and information sheets, are not barrier-free.

Market surveillance body of the federal states for the accessibility of products and services (with regard to the BFSG)

The federal states are currently setting up a joint body to carry out the tasks of the Accessibility Improvement Act. This so-called "Market Surveillance Body of the Federal States for the Accessibility of Products and Services", or "MLBF" for short, is to start work as a new institution under public law in Saxony-Anhalt, in the state capital Magdeburg, on June 28, 2025. The prerequisite for this is the ratification of the state treaty on the fulfillment of tasks in accordance with the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) by all federal states.

All countries are currently creating the necessary conditions for this.
